Burning

I have burning that feels like an infection, in my urethra. It was suggested I had herpetic neuropathy the burning feels like raw inflamed tissue. Its on going for 40 years. One time I had burning in thighs and bladder and feet at the same time with a herpes out break - thus the diagnosis... The only other explaination is caffeine combined with neuropathy. Anyone else have neuropathy that affects the bladder--
