OAB start “out of the blue?

Hi, almost 3 weeks ago my urgent, persistent need to pee happened suddenly and hasn’t gone away since. Prior to that afternoon, I probably peed more often than the average person but in between bathroom breaks, I had relief and no urge to go. Now I cannot get rid of the urge. It’s like my bladder broke and constantly is telling me I have to go. I can go every 10 minutes if I want but have started bladder retraining. I am waiting an hour between bathroom trips but have the urge to pee the entire time and it’s maddening. Has anyone else experienced the sudden onset of these symptoms?
