I'm so down and depressed :(

Hi all,I'm new in this forum...I'm diagnosed with OAB last week. I'm healthy ,had UTI just once in my life :( Started detrol 4 mg and AZO bladder control.My question is : We have to live with this or our urgency to the bathroom will be less with meds ? I'm so sad and depressed,my life is not the same anymore :(
