Make overactive bladder

Most members seem to be women, but my question is regarding males with this issue.
My husband has been suffering for three years and it is just getting progressively worse. He has tried every medication under the Sun and is currently doing the nerve stimulation with ankle needle, still no improvement. He experiences frequent urination. (About every 20 minutes) and occasional pain, mostly when doing physical work or walking or driving.
Any thoughts, feedback or physician recommendations are very much appreciated.
He has seen two urologists in the San Francisco Bay Area and neither seem to take this seriously, but it has completely ruined his life.
Thank you.
